The "Ready Room" Newsletter Volume 15 Issue 10
Our Mission is to increase the awareness of aviation through the flight of historic aircraft while supporting the Anna Shaw Children’s Institute.
Happy Thanksgiving!
This message may be arriving a little later than usual, but it’s still full of meaningful updates and highlights from an active month at the museum—each one a reflection of your support and the mission we share to preserve aviation history for future generations.
One exciting opportunity you won’t want to miss: tickets are still available for the Bellanca Champ 7ACA Airplane Raffle! You don’t need to be a pilot to win—just someone who loves aviation and wants to see these aircraft remain in the skies. Tickets are $20 each, and every purchase helps keep our planes flying and our doors open. You can get your tickets at https://givebutter.com/BellancaChampRaffle.
If you’d prefer to make a direct year-end gift to support the museum’s mission, donations are always welcome. You can give through the QR codes in this newsletter, on our website, or by mailing a check—whatever is most convenient for you.
One quick note before you dive in: some email systems clip longer messages. If you see a notice at the bottom that says [Message clipped], be sure to click “View entire message” so you don’t miss any of the updates and photos inside.
Until next time—thank you, as always, for being part of our Museum of Flight family.
Warm regards, Becky McAllister Communications, MOF

Field Trips at the Museum
We are always proud to share our museum with young people! Two major groups toured the facilities in October: A class trip from Paulding High School and a Homeschool group. We also appreciate the docents stepping up and giving a hand for these larger tours. Quimby also enjoys all the attention!

Breakfast with Santa at KCTJ
The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program has always been a MOF tradition to help children enjoy the season, and this year was no exception. This event featured a breakfast of pancakes and sausage, a picture with the "big guy" and his wife, arts and crafts for the kids, and, of course, the aircraft. Even Mrs. Claus got into the act by sharing the Christmas story. Quimby even had the opportunity to share his wish list.
Did you know? Since 1947, Toys for Tots has distributed 708 million toys to 314 million children.
